QUESTION TACHO GEARBOX
Hello, I noticed you have the tacho drive for my 69 Fastback. Is it a repo made better then stock? Do you have one to sell? How much to ship to USA.

Morning, thanks for your enquiry, the tacho gearboxes are in stock, they are made in the UK by the company that took over from Smiths about 25 years ago, I would not say they where better, I would say exactly the same as the later Smiths ones, that is to say a slightly heavier casting that Smiths introduced back in the early seventies, I think they are very reliable I never had a problem with either the old Smiths or these, they are £98.90 each plus £11.20 post, bit expensive for the post as an expensive item like this we would insure.
