This, the first news article on our brand new website really has to be about the website!
Two years in the making, it had to be done, whilst the old website (nearly 20 years old) was in many ways good, especially for its age, time moves on, problems with its facilities, functions and editing required attention. We also wanted to incorporate the latest secure trading protocols and sadly the old website has had its day.
Nearly 10,000 photographs later, countless hours of editing problems upon problems, here it is. Hopefully it will be found to be a good improvement and its certainly complies with the highest security standards and has many features not generally thought of in 1995!
However having spent a very substantial amount of time on this site, for us it is time to focus on what we should be doing, making and sourcing parts for Norton Motorcycles. To that end what I would ask is that you try our new site and please feel free to criticize and suggest improvements but please be patient, we will be adding and correcting as we go along but we have a lot of catching up to do. Since we finalised the stock to be entered (nearly six months ago) we have concentrated on ironing out the glitches and shaping it to our and your needs. Already we have over 200 new products to list which will be priority one in the office but the number one RGM priority will be workshop production, and that I expect will be the situation for at least two years, catching up with existing production and introducing some interesting new products.
